Cigar Aficionado's have traveled from all over the world and paid thousands and thousands of dollars to go to Cuba for the Annual Havanas Cigar Festival. Cigar Aficionado's say it often brings them peace and pleasure.

“This is my life,”

Jimmy Ng said, who is a Malaysian Businessman who left the travel business to become a cigar merchant 10 years ago.


Jimmy Ng ownes load of books and magazines on Cigars and smokes around 5 to seven cigars a day.


“I’m a purist,”

says Jimmy Ng. He only sells Cuban Cigars and says his clientele is 75% foreign.


At the age of 20 something Jimmy NG started smoking cigars for status and ofcourse to attract women.


The Cuban Ballet and Joseph Fiennes, a British Actor, opened the Havana Cigar Festival on Monday (last) and around 850 people went to Friday nights closing dinner. Ricardo Alarcon, the Cuban Parliment Speaker was there and Vice President Carlos Lage. A few of Fedel Castro's sons also attended.


More than $720,000 was raised early Saturday from Cigar Aficionado's from around the world for 5 handmade Cuban Humidors signed by Fidel Castro.


The Cohiba Humdior was the favorite and it was scupltured by Raul Valladares. It fetched $300,000. All the money from the auction will go to the Cuban Health Care System.
